The Ypsi Board of Education met Monday to discuss if it will close two schools.

Budget reduction plans for Ypsilanti Public Schools are planned to be announced during a special board of education meeting next week.

After Monday night’s board meeting, Superintendent Dedrick Martin said next week’s special board meeting is tentatively set for 7 p.m. March 17, but could change based on board availability.
